Making Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

Philly cheesesteak sliders are great options for impromptu parties, movie marathons, and get-togethers. Restaurants generally use a flat top grill and meat slicer. However, you can make these at home if you have an oven.

You will need mini rolls, pickled peppers, cream cheese, sirloin steaks, diced onion, and shredded provolone cheese. Have some oil, salt, ground pepper, and chives on standby as well. Get a skillet, some foil, and a baking pan that is big enough for the roll.

Preheat the oven. Turn your stove to medium-high and heat the oil. Meanwhile, season the steak with salt and pepper. You may also add cayenne. Sear this in the pan for about 5 minutes on each side. Add diced onions. Remove when the onions have browned and the steaks are firm.

Cut the rolls in half sideways as if making a giant sandwich. Slice the steaks and arrange them on the bottom half of the rolls. Add the cheese and pickled peppers. Put back the top half, cover with foil, and bake for 15 minutes of until the cheese melts.
