Why Global Goals Matter

Why Global Goals Matter

There are country goals and then there are global goals. Which ones are better than the others? The truth is, both sides matter.

They are equally important. If there is anything positive that an epidemic is showing us, there are two important focus lenses. A country must focus on containment procedures.

Yet at the same time, that nation needs to look to the world for inspiration and insights. The view from the united nations is the forest from the trees. Global emission targets, world peace, health, and prosperity cannot be achieved without countries working in unison.

But you should never lose sight of the trees from the forest. That’s why it’s absolutely important for a country with lots of rain forests to look after its own gifts. Without doing so, world targets are nothing but lofty goals. Heal the sick in your country or better yet, find the vaccine by working in tandem with the rest of the world. It’s the only antidote to lasting peace, health, and prosperity for all.
