Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Explained

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a branch of traditional medical practice in China. It is defined as being “faultless” in that it treats patients almost entirely based on their diagnosis, irrespective of the source of that diagnosis. In addition to this, it is widely held by the general public as the “cure” for all ailments, with absolutely no reference to the reality or rationality of such claims.

Many people are now turning to traditional Chinese Medicine for relief from depression and other common ailments. There has been a rise in the number of people turning to Chinese herbal supplements for help and people using more natural forms of treatment, such as homeopathy and qi gong. For example, there are increasing numbers of people using acupuncture to help relieve pain and other symptoms. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs have been used for thousands of years to treat all sorts of conditions and to boost the immune system. Even some scientists believe that Qi Gong can play a major role in the treatment of cancer.
