Could You Be A Motivational Speaker?
If you’re comfortable speaking in front of an audience, becoming one of the many motivational speakers may be for you. It’s possible to make a living from speaking, although one appeal is that it can also be a part time source of income. Another appeal is that although excellent public speaking skills are needed, there are no formal qualifications required. In fact, speakers come from different backgrounds and most specialize in a particular area, such as personal finance, fitness or increasing self esteem. You’ll need to be able to hold an audience’s interest, and actually inspire and motivate them as well as entertain them. How you deliver your message is just as important as what you say. Practising talking to an audience – real or imaginary- and listening to other speakers can give you a good idea of what to say and how you come across.
