Learn About CP Physiotherapy
CP Physiotherapy is one of the keystones to complete recovery from a CP condition. CP or cerebral palsy is a disease of the nervous system. It is characterized by progressive weakness in the muscles of the arms and legs and the inability to move the limbs independently. A CP-affected patient will often find that their movements are slow and slurred, and they will also have a severe lack of dexterity in their movements. CP is not contagious nor passed on genetically, and there is no cure for it. It is, however, treatable. CP patients often find that CP Physiotherapy can give them back some of their independence by helping them to learn how to harness their energy and restore some of their function to their lives.
Once the student has learned how to apply CP principles to a range of pain management situations, they may choose to move onto CP clinical skills training, which will help them diagnose and treat pain using a range of techniques.
